Bootleg City: KBCO Studio C Volume 1
Mayor Wardlaw's got Colorado on his mind
Hello and merry weekend, fellow citizens of Bootleg City! We're all very busy here at City Hall — this is the time of year when Mayor Matt Wardlaw traditionally demands double shifts from everyone in the office so we can adequately prepare for the annual Fourth of July Bash. If you want to know the truth, most of our work these days entails lugging around heavy boxes of fireworks for the celebration's big display, which I hear will culminate in an arrangement that takes the shape of a giant middle finger in the sky. Either that or a penis, I can't tell which, and it's impossible to get a straight answer out of the Mayor for at least two weeks after Memorial Day while he sleeps off the case of Rick & Sammy's Beach Bar Rum he downed all by himself.
The Mayor is a man of voracious appetites. But he is also a generous steward of Bootleg City's chief asset, which is bootlegs, and today he has seen fit to bestow upon us an oldie but a goodie — specifically, the first volume of KBCO's legendary Studio C series, which has been collecting one-of-a-kind in-store appearances since, like, the '90s or something. He promises that many other volumes will follow suit. Or at least I think that's what he promised; it may have been something far more rude. Anyway, here's the track listing. Enjoy!
