Bootleg City: The Bangles in 2000
Reunited and it feels so good

Happy Saturday, folks! Apologies for the radio silence here this week — all's well, but I've got some extra stuff on my plate right now that has made posting more difficult recently. We should be back on something like a regular schedule next week.
In the meantime, I'm using Mayor Wardlaw's latest burrito run as cover for our latest journey into the voluminous vaults of Bootleg City, and returning to you with this recording of the Bangles' post-reunion set at the House of Blues on September 23, 2000. If you're wondering whether this post is timed to celebrate the release of the new Bangles biography, the rather lazily titled Eternal Flame, then you are smart and also correct. Despite my half-joking nitpick with the title, this looks like a fun read that I intend to get to just as soon as I can find a spot in my reading queue; while I wait, here's everyone's favorite Egyptian-walkin' quartet, serving up a set of hits and newer songs.
