The Great Gross-Off: Froot Loops Rainbow Sherbet Scoops Edition
Toucan't handle the scoops
As I write this post, millions of people are baking under a heat dome in the American Southwest that has shattered temperature records, endangering lives while making it ever so slightly more difficult for MAGA ding-dongs to deny that climate change is real. But if you're one of the afflicted, I've got good news for you: Help is on the way, and it might be no further than your nearest grocery store!
I'm talking, of course, about the new, limited edition Froot Loops Rainbow Sherbet Scoops cereal, which breaks with tradition by doing away with the "Loops" part of things and giving you a box full of what appear to be pastel-colored Froot Trix. More importantly, it also adds an exciting new component to that familiar frooty flavor. What is this new addition? I have no idea, and Kellogg's refuses to reveal its name, only referring to it as "an innovative ingredient," which, to be perfectly honest, might have been enough to frighten me away from trying Froot Loops Rainbow Sherbet Scoops if I'd read that quote before I saw these in the grocery store. But I did not, and I am an impulse shopper of limited edition garbage foodstuffs, so I can tell you that whatever the hell they're putting in this cereal, it does in fact "cool your mouth as you eat."
